Eutsler Technical Products — About Us

For more than six decades, Eutsler Technical Products has helped customers solve their toughest sealing, isolation, and wear challenges. Founded in 1964 in Houston, Texas, Eutsler has grown from a small family business into a trusted name for high-performance rubber components used in some of the world’s most demanding industrial applications. We combine in-house compounding, precision molding, mandrel wrapping, extrusion & splicing, bonding, and tight-tolerance machining with a rigorous ISO 9001:2015 quality system to deliver reliable elastomer components built for extreme environments.

Ernest (E.E.) Eutsler along with Bernes (Bernie) Borski founded Eutsler Technical Products, Inc. in 1964.  As the company grew, Mr. Borski’s sons, Michael, Jeffrey, and Kenneth joined the management team, and together with Mrs. Ann Eutsler have overseen the operation of the family owned business until today.

Our primary focus has always been doing “Whatever It Takes” to satisfy our customer’s needs.  Eutsler provides a variety of rubber fabrication techniques which include molding, extruding, and mandrel wrapping.

Our facilities have grown from a small production shop in 1964 to a 68,000 square foot production facility located on an 8.8 acre site.  We are ever expanding to ensure we meet our customer’s requirements, regardless of quantity, shape or size.  Our on-site compounding and testing resources allow us to evaluate your application and recommend specific materials and cost effective production techniques.

Eutsler has achieved an ISO 9001:2015 Accredited Certificate from WCS. We are dedicated to product quality and reliability.

What We Do

  • Custom Elastomer Compounding – Application-specific formulations (NBR, HNBR, FKM, FFKM, VMQ/FVMQ, EPDM, TFEP, XNBR, IIR/BIIR, CSM, CR, and specialty blends).
  • Production Molding – Compression, transfer, injection, LSR; rubber-to-metal/fabric bonding.
  • Mandrel Wrapping – Multi-layer sleeves, tubes, and bladders with reinforcement.
  • Extrusion & Splicing – Continuous profiles, tubing, cords; hot-vulcanized corners and rings.
  • Precision Finishing – CNC machining, grinding, grooving, cryo-deflashing, post-cure.
  • Testing & Validation – Full ASTM lab: rheology, tensile/elongation, tear, compression set, heat/chemical aging, FTRI and DSC testing.

  • Documentation Ready – C of C, batch records, FAI/PPAP upon request, retained plaques and samples.

Our Process

Discover → Design → Develop → Validate → Deliver

  1. Discover– Define media, temperature, pressure, loads, life targets.
  2. Design– Select polymer and cure system; co-engineer geometry and tolerances.
  3. Develop– Tooling, trial builds, and compound tuning using MDR/Mooney data.
  4. Validate– ASTM testing, dimensional audits, field-representative simulations.
  5. Deliver– Certified production with full traceability and packaging configured for your assembly flow.

Quality & Certifications

  • ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
  • Lot-level traceability from raw polymer to finished part
  • SPC on critical dimensions and cure indices
  • Bond verification (ASTM D429), compression set (ASTM D395), rheology (ASTM D5289)

Facilities & Capabilities (Snapshot)

  • Mixing: Two-roll mills with controlled temps and friction ratios
  • Presses: Compression/transfer/injection; vacuum assist; multi-zone platen control
  • Autoclaves & Ovens: Programmed cure and post-cure profiles
  • Extrusion Lines: Hot feed
  • Finishing: Cryogenic deflash, precision grinding, turning/milling
  • Inspection: Optical/vision, CMM, profilometry, laser OD/wall gauging

Sustainability & Responsibility

  • Long-life product design to reduce replacement frequency
  • Process efficiency (waste reduction, energy-aware cure scheduling)
  • Material selection guidance to minimize environmental impact where possible
